LO2: Legal and ethical consideration.

Legal issues
Could discriminate against a people.
Could infringe copyright.
Could be slanderous.

Law: Obscene Publications ACT 1959 And 1964.
Anything that deprave or corrupt a person. A warning is needed.
I will avoid breaching the Obscene Publications Act by not publishing that could deprave or corrupt the viewers.

The Defamation Act 2013
This act is to protect itellectual property, so a if a person is unfairly insulted or defamed and as a result lost a significant amount of earning, they could sue for defamation of character and claim this back.
I will avoid this by giving only fair reviews and not by not saying anything defaming without proof.

Copyright Law
This law protects the publication of content. Under 1995 regulation the period of the authors copyright was extended to the lifetime of the author and 70 years thereafter.
I will avoid this by creating all the content for the magazine myself.

Negligent publication
The author or the publisher under certains circumstances, either individually or jointly, could be found liable for incitement or negligent publication.
I would avoid this by not publishing anything that could be negligent.

Ethical Issues

Ethical issues are not covered by law. For example fashion magazines using furs from real animals, or encouraging people to play 6+ hours of video games.

I will avoid this by not encouraging people to play the games but by giving a fair unbiased opinion that could be taken either as good or bad.
